How to fake the fresh facial glow between appointments

Everyone knows the day two facial glow: smooth, plump, lit from within, makeup optional. Appointments are monthly at best, but the glow formula is replicable at home because it is really just three effects stacked.

Effect one: no fuzz, no dead layer

A careful at home dermaplane removes peach fuzz and surface buildup in minutes. Light catches smooth skin differently, which is most of what you are seeing after a professional facial. Clean, dry skin, gentle downward strokes, never over active breakouts.

Effect two: cold

Estheticians end facials with cooling for a reason. A few minutes of gentle cold de puffs, tightens the look of everything, and wakes your face up better than concealer. Morning cold on cheekbones, jawline and under eyes is the cheapest glow tool that exists.

Effect three: saturation

Post facial skin is saturated with hydration. At home that means layering: a hydrating mist or essence, a moisturizer to seal, and lips coated in something rich, because cracked lips ruin an otherwise glowing face. A touch of shimmer on the high points finishes the effect without a drop of highlighter.

The ritual, in order

Dermaplane once every few weeks. Cold every morning. Hydration always. That is the whole secret, and it is exactly the ritual our products are being designed around.
